As the countdown to the official start of the 2024 season continues, the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) today announced an expansion to its global broadcast partnerships by joining forces with StarTimes for the coming campaign.

Airing highlights for the 2024 season, StarTimes will bring high-octane WSX action to viewers across Africa’s Sub Saharan region, putting them in the driving seat for what is the World Championship’s most highly anticipated competition to date.

Commencing on 26 October, WSX will start its 2024 season at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, before contesting a historic double-header event at HBF Park in Perth for the WSX Australian GP. Abu Dhabi will host the season finale on 4 December, with WSX racing at Etihad Arena just days before Formula 1’s 2024 showdown at the Yas Marina Circuit.

The 2024 WSX season features an international grid made up of some of the biggest names in Supercross, including reigning two-time World Champion, Ken Roczen, and two-wheeled racing royalty, Eli Tomac, who will make a highly anticipated comeback to the series. Fan favourite rider, Dean Wilson, will also make a return, while Joey Savatgy will also fight for the title after finishing as the runner-up in 2022 and 2023.
