SX Global Unveils Plans for FIM Supercross World Championship Series

The recent announcement of a significant financial and strategic partnership with Mubadala Capital will underpin SX Global’s plans for World Supercross. The FIM Supercross World Championship will offer an incredible USD $50 million in team and rider support over five years, and the richest prize purse in the history of Supercross with USD $250,000 up for grabs at each event.
The FIM Supercross World Championship will feature an independent team-ownership model, with only 10 team licenses available to independent owners, ensuring a value proposition. Events will follow the established two-class format – each team fielding four riders: WSX (450cc) class, and two in the SX2 (250cc) class. Each event will feature an elevated experience for fans, through unique race formats, broadcast innovations, and in-stadium attractions that elevate the overall entertainment experience.
