Cullin Park and Noah Viney will represent MotoConcepts Racing in the upcoming 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship season, competing in the series’ SX2 250 class.

The pair, who have a combined age of just 42, represent a new generation of Supercross rider and are set to take the SX2 field by storm when the 2024 campaign gets underway in Vancouver, Canada, on 26 October.

Park, who made his debut in the SX2 class in 2023, was a top performer last season and finished fifth overall in the standings, with a best finish of fourth at the WSX Australian GP in Melbourne.

With five top five finishes and seven top 10s from a total of nine GP races, Park was one of the most consistent riders of the year and despite switching teams – moving from Pipes Motorsports Group to MotoConcepts Racing – is set for further success in 2024.

Named as the AMA Supercross 250 Rookie of the Year in 2022, Park has continued to build on his achievements, and since placing inside the top five in WSX’s SX2 class, has raced full-time in the AMA Motocross 450 Championship this year, finishing a promising 19th in points.

Cullin Park, SX2 Rider, MotoConcepts Racing, said: “I’m excited to get my second season in SX2 underway later this year. In 2023 I was able to pull together a very consistent run across all three GPs, and if I can push for higher positions and replicate that again, I’m confident that we could be in the hunt. WSX is a global series, and I think the 2024 season will be very momentum-driven and form-based. Every single race will matter, so it will be vital to hit the ground running when we get started in Vancouver.”

For Noah Viney, who is only 19 years old, 2024 will mark his rookie season in WSX’s SX2 category, but despite his youth, he is determined to run at the front of the field with the aim of delivering MotoConcepts Racing with the results they expect.

A cool, calm, and well-mannered figure in every paddock, Viney is one of the hardest riders out there when the helmet goes on, and it’s with this proven approach that he’ll be tackling the 2024 season.

As Viney continues to forge his career, success in the 2024 SX2 campaign could prove to be pivotal for the Canadian prodigy who hails from Ottawa, Ontario.

Noah Viney, SX2 Rider, MotoConcepts Racing, said: “When I joined MotoConcepts Racing, Mike [Genova] and Tony [Alessi] were very honest with me. They told me that if I was able to prove myself, they’d let me race WSX in 2024, and I’m very excited to be on the series’ SX2 grid this season. MCR is a top team with high expectations, and after training hard throughout the year, my goal is to refine by racecraft by securing good starts and running up at the front. Vince [Friese] has helped me out massively with my training during this time, and I’m very thankful for that, and I’d like to thank Mike and Vince for giving me this opportunity.”

The 2024 WSX season will commence on 26 October at BC Place in Vancouver for the WSX Canadian GP and will continue on 23-24 November at HBF Park in Perth for the WSX Australian GP – an event which marks the series’ first-ever double-header. The World Championship will then conclude at Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena on 4 December.

Mike Genova, Team Principal, MotoConcepts Racing, added: “In 2022 and early in 2023, we tasted our fair share of success in WSX’s SX2 class, but despite that, we’ve always been one or two steps away from championship contention. With Cullin and Noah, we’ve been able to build a very competitive lineup for 2024, and when you pair their speed with their determination and youth, it’s clear that we have two riders who are very hungry and very eager for success. Cullin’s consistency in SX2 was impressive last season, and when Noah joined MotoConcepts, we told him that he could race WSX if he proved to us that he was ready, and he’s more than done that. I’m looking forward to seeing what we can achieve in SX2, and in the premier WSX 450 class with Vince [Friese] and Ryan [Breece].”
