MotoConcepts Racing has confirmed that Ryan Breece will complete the team’s 450cc WSX class lineup for the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX), with the American partnering series frontrunner Vince Friese.
2024 will mark Breece’s second season in WSX after the native of Coer D’Alene, Idaho, previously represented Rick Ware Racing during the series’ inaugural campaign in 2022.
Since taking a best finish of 10th in GP Race 1 in Cardiff, Wales, Breece has risen to new heights in his professional career by winning the 2024 Brazilian Arenacross Championship ahead of Dean Wilson, while also finishing as the vice champion of the 2024 AMA Arenacross series.

Known for his fearless riding style and naturally tenacious approach, Breece will be looking to add further success to an already strong year in WSX when the season gets underway on 26 October at BC Place in Vancouver.
Ryan Breece, WSX Rider, MotoConcepts Racing, said: “It feels great to be back in WSX after being away last season, and I’m excited to be part of the MotoConcepts Racing team for 2024. Racing in Brazilian Arenacross this year has really fuelled my passion and drive, and off the back of my championship title, I’m riding with a bit of momentum behind me. Competing alongside Vince [Friese] will be a fantastic opportunity, I’m looking forward to making an impact, and I’m ready to hit the ground running at BC Place in October.”
Following the WSX Canadian GP on 26 October, WSX will head to HBF Park in Perth for the WSX Australian GP on 23-24 November for its first-ever double-header event. The 2024 season will then come to a close on 4 December in Abu Dhabi at Etihad Arena.
Mike Genova, Team Principal, MotoConcepts Racing, added: “Ryan is an impressive rider, and his successes in Arenacross this year have really put him on the map. He’s a tenacious and determined rider, and he’s shown time and time again that when the opportunity comes around on track, he’ll take advantage. I can’t wait to see what he can do alongside Vince [Friese] this year.”
