Highlights of the 2024 FIM World Supercross Championship to be broadcast on SuperSport to engage audiences in Sub Saharan Africa
SuperSport will bring audiences in Sub Saharan Africa closer to the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) than ever before by broadcasting highlights of the series’ upcoming 2024 season.
Featuring some of the best Supercross riders and teams globally, the 2024 WSX season is set to be the World Championship’s most spectacular campaign to date, with action set to commence on 26 October at BC Place in Vancouver for the inaugural WSX Canadian GP.
From Canada, WSX will head to HBF Park in Perth for the WSX Australian GP before racing at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 4 December – the same week as Formula 1’s season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina Circuit.
With the return of two-time World Champion, Ken Roczen, who will defend his title in 2024, the season will also see Eli Tomac return to WSX, with the Motocross and Supercross legend aiming for top honours. Fan favourite riders including Dean Wilson, and two-time WSX vice-champion, Joey Savatgy, will also be back in action.
